Based in the heart of the Ottawa Valley, Summit Forestry started off as Valley Firewood. It was a way to pay my way through college. We started out with just  a chainsaw and axe, experience in a lumber yard, and a couple generations of family members going back past my great grandfather over a century ago. 
 

Upgrading slowly over the years, getting a wood splitter, then small firewood processor, to a Cord King processor. Traveling throughout the province doing custom firewood processing for individuals and companies from Niagara Falls, to Sault Ste Marie. Pushing forward with a skid steer, a Tree Farmer C6D cable skidder, then all Timberjack after that... 230 forwarder, 608 harvester, 628 buncher, 560 grapple skidder and on.
